Pinellas Park Medical District Awards

Second Scholarship

Three students were awarded Pinellas Park Medical District scholarships totaling $5,000 in July. The scholarships are awarded to students pursuing a career in health care who plan to attend an educational institution within the city of Pinellas Park that offers health care degrees or programs.

Recipients include Latesa Guerra, a NUHS Florida-site student pursuing a doctor of chiropractic degree, and two St. Petersburg College students. "The Pinellas Park Medical District looks forward to continuing this sustainable initiative every year," said Daniel Strauss, DC, dean of College of Professional Studies, NUHS-Florida. "We are very fortunate to have such tremendous support from the city of Pinellas Park to help to make this happen.”
