Sonia Joubert Supports Children With Hair Loss

Dr. Sonia Joubert, Aurora Whole Health Center clinician, recently received a certificate of appreciation for donating her hair in support of Children With Hair Loss (CWHL). Dr. Joubert shaved her head March 30, 2016, and all the hair was saved and sent to Children With Hair Loss (CWHL). When she received her certificate, she was told that $5,000 in children’s hair pieces/wigs were made from her donation. The certificates are awarded once the products were created and ready for their final recipients/children. The organization’s goal is to “Cover Young Heads to Heal Young Hearts.” It takes care of any child with medically related hair loss free of charge every year until age 21 through donations of human hair or monetary contributions.
