Advanced Topics in Acupuncture

The program provides doctors, doctoral students and other licensed health care professionals the opportunity to learn this age-old technique in three levels of progression. Each course offers classroom and laboratory practicum advancing the attendees’ acupuncture knowledge along with their clinical application skills. A significant portion of each program involves active needling of appropriate acupuncture points and patterns.

Advanced 200-2: Male & Female Health

June 10-11, 2017

Advanced 200-3: Pediatrics

July 8-9, 2017

Advanced 200-4: Tung's Acupuncture

August 5-6, 2017

Advanced 200-5: Pulse Diagnosis and Accessory Techniques

September 9-11, 2017

Each course is Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. & Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (15.0 hours + 5.0 DL)

Topics in Rehabilitation: Stability

June 3-4, 2017

The purpose of the course is to improve the attendees’ understanding of and ability to identify and address pathology resulting from instability. For the students attending, the sole purpose of this course is to provide them with proper tools to effectively treat musculoskeletal pathology.

Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy (VSMT) Certification Program

This 226-hour Postgraduate Education Certification is open to licensed chiropractors and veterinarians in good standing with their respective licensing boards. Species: Small and Large Animals. Emphasis: Functional Neurology. Watch a brief video about this course!

Length of the program: 5 modules (Wednesday 1:00 p.m. until Sunday at 1:00 p.m.)

Online Continuing Education (CE)

Need hours for license renewal and have a hard time committing to the classroom. NUHS offers online CE programs that you can take from your home or office. The list is constantly updating. Create a username and password and have access to exclusive courses on topics from Functional Neurology, Nutrition, ICD-10 Training, and more specific topics like Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth.
