Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth Seminar
This one-day course will include causes and risk factors of SIBO how symptoms are generated, and how likely it is to recover. SIBO treatments aimed at reducing bacteria in the small intestine showing remarkable success rates such as low carbohydrate diets, specific antibiotics and herbal antibiotics, and elemental diet will be covered. A treatment algorithm will also be presented along with key clinical pearls for treatment success and the prevention of relapse, which standardly includes diet, meal spacing and pro kinetics.
