Dr. Berglund is one of only 300 chiropractors in the U.S. with a Diplomate in Sports Medicine (DACBSP), which requires an additional two years of post-doctoral study. She is one of only two doctors in the state of Montana to hold a DACBSP, as well as one of only two doctors who is an Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (ICCSP) in Montana.

When not traveling with Team USA, Dr. Berglund can be found working at her Active Care Family Chiropractic office at The Headwater Wellness Center in Stevensville. She and her staff offer a full range of treatments to keep you performing at your best.

Amy Berglund, DC (NUHS 2007) traveled to the Olympic Training Center (OTC) in Lake Placid, March 13-27. There she worked with the USA Bobsled and Skeleton Teams. As a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, Dr. Berglund was once again been invited back to work at the Olympic Training Center. Her first rotation occurred in August 2014 where she worked with the USA Bobsled, Luge, Skeleton and Aerial Ski Teams.

As well as working on the track with the USA Bobsled and Skeleton Team this March, Dr. Berglund will also work closely with the head athletic trainer, on-staff chiropractor and the medical doctors at the Olympic Training Center clinic. USA Sports Medicine uses a muli-disciplinary approach to treating athletes, which is the same model Dr. Berglund uses at her own Headwaters Wellness Center practice in Stevensville, Montana.

In addition to working at the Olympic Training Center, Dr. Berglund was also the only chiropractor for Team USA at the 2015 World University Games held in Granada, Spain. While there she provided medical care to USA Freeski and USA Snowboard teams. In 2013/2014, she also worked with the Slopestyle skiers and Snowboarders on the Winter Dew Tour in Breckenridge, CO.

Lombard, Illinois. She also just received her Master's in Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (MSDPEM) from Arkansas State University. She also is a past president of the Arkansas State Board of Health.

Karen Konarski-Hart, DC, FACO, MSDPEM, FICC, was named the Outstanding Program Intern for the Master of Science of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management program at Arkansas State University. Dr Konarski-Hart is the first chiropractic physician in the MSDPEM program. Many of her program projects incorporated the inclusion and importance of chiropractic physicians in emergency and disaster response. She presently serves as the vice president of the American Chiropractic Association and lectures on disaster preparedness for NCMIC’s Speakers Bureau.

The American Chiropractic Association is the largest professional association in the world representing doctors of chiropractic.

The ACA provides lobbying, public relations, professional and educational opportunities for doctors of chiropractic, funds research regarding chiropractic and health issues and offers leadership for the advancement of the profession.

She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan and her doctor of chiropractic degree from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. She also just received her Master's in Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (MSDPEM) from Arkansas State University. She also is a past president of the Arkansas State Board of Health.
