Annabel Munga (Class of 2015) holds an undergraduate degree in International Relations with a concentration on Development Studies and a Minor in Diplomacy and Foreign Policy. Currently, she is a full time student pursuing a Masters in International Relations.
Annabel is engaged in two projects in Garissa and Waata Communities in Northern Kenya. In Waata Community, she is working with a group of ten friends among them six USIU-Africa alumni in a project dubbed “Adopt a Family” with the objective of creating awareness and fundraising to adopt a family at the cost of Kes. 1,500 per month. The approach the team utilizes is to raise money and give it to a liaison person on ground to buy basic necessities for the families and take it to them; the team has so far adopted one family. The team also aspires to build a borehole for the community in the near future.
