Volunteer Day in
Blagoevgrad.
The world celebrates the International
Day of Volunteering on 5th December.
Accordingly, the Alternativi International
Association organized the event on
December 4th in the first youth space in
Blagoevgrad - the Place. Within more than
two hours the guests of the event had
the chance to hear the inspiring stories of
6 young people who decided to spend 9
months as volunteers in Blagoevgrad. This
invitation brought together young people
who were willing to volunteer and thanks
to this event they had the chance to get to
know each other and about volunteering
in Blagoevgrad. The Orthodox Information
Center in Blagoevgrad, the Bulgarian
Youth Red Cross (BRCY) participated in the
event. They were presented volunteers with
different activities they can participate in
the city. At the end of the 2 hours, we had
an enjoyable and efficient time.
In addition on December 6th volunteers
at Alternatives International took an
active part in the Erasmus + Evaluation
Conference 2018, organized by Human
Resources Development Center (HRDC).

motivate young people to be
a volunteer, to show them
what is to be a volunteer in
practice and of course to
