Alpine is the largest town in the Big Bend
region and serves as the “Hub of the Big
Bend.”

Alpine’s climate is almost perfect, with
247 sunny days per year. At an elevation of
4,500’, summers are pleasant, with highs
averaging 90 degrees. The rainy season
begins in June, bringing afternoon
showers that cool things down through
September. Winter always brings a few
snowfalls, but most days reach 60 degrees.
