You have quite the resume "Grooves," your accomplishments are beyond impressive. Let’s start from the top. I understand that you have been signed in the past to a couple of major music labels. Tell us how you think the music industry has changed for artists over the years. Today, artists have much more freedom, better options and greater opportunity for creative and financial control. Depending upon the situation that you either create or are offered. In today’s music industry, artists have ample opportunity to record, manufacture, market and sell their own product on their own terms and retain most of their profits….so, to a degree, they can control their own destiny in the industry….

Where does your stage name “Grooves” originate from? I am a drummer. One of the lessons I learned early on, is the job of a great drummer is to “groove the band.” On my
