School in the semi-final where they managed to win by 21-17. Unfortunately they were unable to beat Bournemouth B Team to become overall winners, but we are very proud of their achievement. Year 10 Rubgy Mrs Garnett and Mr Sadler Red carpet Crowd area Barriers Sporting Greats Year 9 Football Our Year 9 boys team played really well at this year’s County Cup for Football. They beat Thomas Hardye School A Team 2-1 to make it to the semi final. Here they faced and beat Budmouth to make it to the finals where, in true England style, lost on penalties to Colfox 4-3. Our feisty Year 10 Team also played in a countywide tournament where they met opponents from Poole High School, Bournemouth Collegiate School and St Peters School where they battled to their best. Netball The Girls netball teams have all been busy with both matches against local schools and area tournaments with particularly good results against St Mary’s Puddletown and Budmouth. Year 9 Rugby Just to show us what a truly sporty lot the Year 9 are, not content with their football result, they went on to play in a countywide rugby tournament that included 16 Dorset secondary schools. They beat Winton 7-0, Highcliffe 14-7 and met St Peters Girls Football On 1 March the Year 8 Girls Football team made it to the semi finals of the area cup but sadly lost in extra time—well done girls.
