IDEA: Use the Thinking Routine
I used to think/Now I think and
identify the geographic location
of Brazil in the globe map
Brazil’s climate through most of the country is warm and tropical and so everywhere that
isn’t city is flourishing and green. A variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes and coffee grow
there. Many Brazilians claim that Brazil’s soil can grow anything. Regulary you can find
bananas, coconuts, oranges and many other fruits just growing on the side of the road.
IDEA: Plan a science project using the
Thinking Routine Wheel of Wonder to plant a
seed and see if it will grow in our environment.
Have older students to draw a conclusion of
what is needed to grow a seed and reflect on
Brazilian flourishing environment.
