Infant Activities
1. Standard- Use vision and hands to explore large and small objects within their reach
- Encourage infants to explore, touch, and feel the texture of various fabrics and
materials.
2. Standard- See and point to things that are attractive
- Encourage infants to point to various brightly-colored articles of clothing or
dress-up attire, while announcing what they are looking at. (i.e. “Look at the red
shoes!”, “Look, it is a green dress!”)
3. Standard- Place small items or objects in to a box
- Encourage infants to place various textured materials and fabrics into a box.
4. Standard-Begin grasping with thumb and forefinger
- Supervise infants as they pick up and observe large buttons
