Fauna
In Kenya there is a great variety of animals, with one of the largest varieties of mammals
that live there; more than in any other part of the planet.
Some of these mammals are: the lion, the leopard, the cheetah, the caracal, the serval, the
wild African cat, the wild African dog – these belonging to the feline family; the buffalo, the
sable antelope, the impala, the topis, the zebra and the porcupine.
Amongst the reptiles we can find: crocodiles, chameleons, turtles and morocoys.
Birds we can see in Kenya: Quelea quelea, the crowned Eagle and zamuros, amongst
many others.
