We discover Sweden using the 21 Century Literature Multi- sensorial
Literature – Direct connection with month´s topics
The objective is to discover how small parts make a whole
and how this whole has small parts that contribute to it and
make it unique. This discovery is a collaborative process
where each child and adult participates contributing their
points of view and their knowledge creating a literary
production with elements of the 21 Century.
Use examples to explain depth (for example: we are part
of a classroom, our room is part of a school, our school is part of the city, etc.) If we removed
any of those, we would not be complete, something would be missing.
Present several resources about Sweden to your students.
Try to choose different components; it could be the
opportunity to make connections with previous topics such as
Encounter of Two Worlds, Nature, and My School, and
others.
Ideal activity for closing a unit.
In White cardboard, create a giant puzzle with one
piece for each boy/girl.
In those pieces, there must be some that have: Art, music, photos or costumes of
movement, writings, images, recorded comments, etc.
It is a puzzle with links to other means and shapes for multi sensorial expression.
It is a puzzle of the 21 Century.
With the smaller children, you be the one to model, look for connections in technology
related to what you are doing.
Connect with books that include Cd´s, sounds, etc.
