The Flag
Originally, the dance of the dragon, born
during the Han Dynasty (206AC – 220DC),
was a ceremony of respect for the forefathers
and a petition of rain to heaven, which later
became a recreation. Later, during the Tang
(618-907) and Song (960-1279) dynasties,
the dance of the dragon was already very
common in New Year festivities and other
festive events.
The Hanfum, is the traditional dress in
China. This garment has also strongly
influenced the Japanese kimono and the
Korean Hanbok.
