Let the children decide what happens and what there is in their maps, if they are missing
the “park” or any other area, this should not be corrected.
Please, make sure that the adults are not influencing their perceptions / decisions
Ask the children to share their maps, document their explanations
The smaller children just do the maps, take the pictures and surely some will be able to
point and name their work with words
5. Visits
It would be ideal that the children themselves could carry out or lead the tours of the
school for the visitors and for the parents, showing “how it feels to be here”; the voices of
the children are stronger than any other story, because they are the ones that “live the
experience that each one of us is creating.
In order to do this, we have to begin by inviting the children to do the tours for their
classmates, teachers, and parents.
Document the processes and the tours.
