What part of school don’t you like?
What is it that seems difficult?
What is the food like?
Which has been your best day in school?
What is it that you like to do most outside of school?

We recommend that certain conferences / interviews / meetings be carried out by the schools
staff and other by teachers. These meetings should be repeated during the school year.
We are also doing this with parents at Edu1st schools.
When you carry out the conference, be flexible, allow enough time, some movement, and even
carry it out while you walk. Try to keep it small so that they can all participate.
3. Cameras
Ask the children to tell about their life in school, from their point of view, using pictures.
Next, ask that they visit the classes of the youngest ones or the older ones and to take
pictures that show how the babies feel while being in school, how the parents and
teachers feel while being in school.
We want to listen to their perspectives and points of view about what it is like to be in school.
Allow them to select the most important images so they can be printed and, as much as possible;
allow them to print them themselves.
Allow them to document and record their stories.
4. Maps and plans
Ask the children to make a map of the school.
Invite them to select images and photos to add to the maps.
