It is a topic that allows us to get to know ourselves better and to know about our work
from the boy’s and girl’s perspectives.

It is a topic that clearly sends the boys and girls the message of the importance of their
opinion, of the multiple perspectives that there may be in school, of team work, of
themselves with their tastes; it is a topic that is rich and adaptable to different ages.
Suggestions for handling the topic and carrying out a project:
Inspired on programs from the United Kingdom, and the experiences in New Zealand
regarding childhood education through the pedagogy of listening, and after an arduous work of
reflection from the Edu1st team we suggest the following to be able to work with all the different
ages:
Listen attentively to the children: In order to listen to the children, it is important to have
an open mind, looking to listen from all their languages and not only the oral one.
Children talk with actions, gestures, movements, arts, sounds, etc.
