4 Monthly Topic: Talking with Nature Letter for Educators 5 Pieces of advice to make each month the best month Dear Colleagues, This month we want to share with you 5 pieces of advice that our Edu1st ream considered are key to make each month the best month. We invite you to read them and dedicate at least one week to each one to reflect upon their importance, your presence currently in the classroom, and the challenges that you face as a teacher; and time to understand them, perfect them, complement them, and execute them. 1. Have very clear objectives We send you different topics and projects every month. Each one of these topics offers a universe of opportunities to develop language, arts, social sciences, math, etc. In order to achieve your goals as teachers, it is crucial to have clear objectives. Periodically review each dimension for development and verify that all the objectives are being worked on. Do not assume that you know them; generally when we assume, we leave aside important objectives that develop significant competencies for all. Really know your students, make sure you are able to describe them from their needs and strengths. That way, you will be able to differentiate your expectations and personal objectives for each student. Reflect upon your objectives, and how they impact and inspire each one of your classroom members. 2. Look deeply to think deeply Remember to plan with colleagues to make a conceptual network with the ideas. Use the human units to guide the classification of your ideas and to generate connections.
