Promote language, arts, science and exploration, prediction, documentation, geography, history, citizenship and values It is an ample and versatile topic that allows great flexibility to promote all dimensions of development. It is a topic that allows us to get to know ourselves better and to know that world that surrounds us. It is a topic that sends a message to the boys and girls of the importance of nature in our lives, how it affects us, how it nourishes us, and how what we do has a repercussion in that relationship. It is a rich topic, adaptable to all different ages. It allows for playing, enjoying, exploring, being creative, being scientific. It is a topic that connects with the children; that offers the possibility of learning something regardless of age that affects us personally and therefore connects with intrinsic motivators for each individual that allows that we give our own contributions empowering each one of the projects actors. It is a topic that transcends traditional topics about animals to give a more global and integrated focus to deepen comprehension. The focus on nature invites us to study animals, plants, places, climate, and all possible relationships between them. This way we invite them to see the whole and the parts permanently doing connections with the boys and girls daily lives. It is a very ample topic that gives the teacher flexibility to work on it starting from the children’s and your own interests. It is important to always keep the comprehension objectives so as not to lose the project’s path.
