At this age, it is important to remember that everything the students learn should be hands on in
an active and dynamic way. It is difficult for them to perceive abstract ideas without images or
without something that reinforces the knowledge.
We are teaching the children to validate their answers at this age, so it’s important to be good
models for them through the validation of our own answers and or claims.
Be part of the group doing your own investigations and modeling the way you gather data,
etc.

Citizenship: Values and Global Ethics
Make sure you name and celebrate the moments where the behaviors show the presence
of VESS values.
Once again, remember the importance of being consistent in the promotion of citizen
development.
Focus this month on making the active participations something evident, and on the value
of building trust starting from being consequent with what we say and do.
