Fantastic 4 Elements
I.
From AIR, FIRE, WATER AND EARTH to SOLID, LIQUID, GAS and
PLASMA
All along history, humanity has wanted to explain the patterns it finds in
nature. To do so, we study the interaction of the different elements that we
find in it, trying to transform them a recreate them.
Since the times of Ancient Greece, 4 basic elements were defined
that were referred to as earth, water, air and fire. In a broader view, the
union of those 4 elements gives LIFE TO ALL BEINGS and with it come
wellbeing, joy, beauty, and development.
Given the impact of those “elements” in our point of view, human beings
continued investigating, inquiring, and exploring to better understand what
they were made of and why nature is the way it is. After more than 2000
years of research, scientists understood that that, even though they are
related between them, they are different. Water/liquid, earth/solid, air/gas,
and fire/Related to Plasma (present in some natural phenomenon such as
lightning and stars).
Today, scientists refer to only four states of matter. Today we know that
the ancient “elements” are the combination of multiple elements that create
them.
VESS understands that, since childhood, the passion for
understanding, exploring. Manipulating, and understanding the world that
surrounds us, is evident. Water, earth, air, and fire are part of our daily
living.
However, very few times do we see the exploration of these
elements as topics that can be generating inside infant centers. And if exploration does occur as a
