Be creative; take advantage of the different spaces in school to promote different sites, and diverse and significant experiences. Investigate where there is water; why there is water, what do we want to know about water. o What other things is water similar to? 1. Could they be water? Present other liquids for them to explore: o Oil o Honey o Alcohol o Liquid dish soap o Color dyes Use each tool for thought in a different context. Promote careful observation Name and make notes of the student’s actions while they evidence the thinking processes and celebrate them.
