Personal Wellbeing Dimension
In this dimension we don´t only look for the student´s physical wellbeing, but also the emotional,
mental, and spiritual.
The Personal Wellbeing Dimension also connects with social autonomy, where the student
develops independently in different contexts both in and outside the classroom.
When the student achieves social autonomy, behavior patterns are created that he/she will
always take with him/her.

With the students, teachers, and parents, model positive values and behaviors
Use costumes and other attractive objects to dramatize topics, stories, or anecdotes
Give way to imagination: Validate the children´s answers and their contributions
Use the “causation” key to break patterns of thought
Create an area in the room where you document the projects developed at home by
the children
In spontaneous conversations, add the month´s theme in real situations that connect
with the students
Give yourself the opportunity of adding games/relaxation activities at the beginning
of the day (e.g. Yoga)
Have fun! Enjoy your children´s happiness and share it with them; this is a positive
way of getting involved with the students
Emotional Wellbeing
Give way for the children to make his/her own decisions so as to be able to achieve his autonomy. In
the development of autonomy, values and ethics are reinforced.
In the course of the activities and in the day to day in general, pay attention to the student´s
emotions (e.g. a child that normally participates actively is suddenly quite silent).
