5. Pretend Play: Theater
Share with your students how authors are not the only ones involved in the writing
process (for example: there is also the publisher)
Share with your students how everybody plays an important and different role in
these processes
Invite your students to transfer a story to a “theater”
Divide your students in groups
Present thinking routine and objectives
Once the story is created invite your students to put it on a play
Take in consideration the different roles: Someone in charge of organizing the
characters, the setting, transcripts, etc.
Document by taking pictures
