Famous Stories Choose a famous story and share it with your class Share with your students how this story has retold been over and over again Invite your students to “scan” the story one more time and share what new things they have found (Example: A new character that they did not notice before, a scene, a viewpoint, etc.) Present the thinking routine and its objectives What if this story was only the beginning? What would be next? What if this story was the middle? What would have happened before and what do you think can happen after? If this story was the end, can you create a different ending?
