Connect/Extend/Challenge: This Thinking Routine helps to connect new ideas to prior
knowledge. Use the TR to uncover previous knowledge. Help your young baby to
understand that everything that we see is visible because of light. Start the activity by
connecting ideas and information of what they already know. We see with our eyes etc.
Encourage them to look around and point out or name things or colors they see. Extend
