Cognitive Development Through Imaginative Play:
This month we are exploring the infinitely vast concept of imagination! It is important
that we are not limiting the imagination of children by guiding them to learn by only our own
methods or from our own experiences, but by opening up their minds to explore how previous
knowledge can be synthesized with newly attained knowledge in a unique way.
Children learn through imaginative play best during these early years. In order to foster
their cognitive and academic development, it is our responsibility as educators to facilitate their
