- Standard -Drawing and coloring using a variety of materials, such as pens,
crayons, pencils, and markers
6. Standard-Draws and forms recognizable shapes and images
- Invite children to paint replicas and representations of things found in and around
the universe. What is it like? How is it related to other things? (TK Form, TK
Reflection, Thinking Routine- Colors, Shapes, Lines)
7. Standard- Buttons and unbuttons
- Offer various costumes for children to play dress-up.
8. Standard- Manipulate play dough and clay, forming basic shapes
- Encourage children to create replicas and representations of the Solar System with
play dough or clay.
9. Standard- Engages in activities that require hand-eye coordination
10. Standard- Uses scissors appropriately, open and close to cut paper
- Provide various templates and stencils of things found in the universe such as
planets, moon, sun, stars, and so on for children to trace, cut out, and decorate.
