Through these simple steps students will also value that there are multiple paths that lead to
understanding. Children should be encouraged to seek out and experiment with new things or ideas.
They should be encouraged to ask questions at all the times and investigate the environment around
them. It is also vital that children follow their interests and think outside the box whenever possible.
Another crucial key is for them to be open to other’s ideas so that they can learn how to build upon
and reconstruct their own conceptual knowledge. Teachers that want to encourage creativity in the
classroom need to ensure that they are giving their students a lot of choices and different options!
