Why Is It Important for VESS
The tuber of the VESS curriculum is that through our teaching we prepare students to have
balanced, meaningful life, and full of wisdom. As it is commonly accepted, the world we live in
rapidly changes which means that we teach our students for the unknown future. While Design and
Technology is directly connected to the development of our species, our future life will be influenced
significantly by technologies currently being or yet to be, designed and created. Consequently,
responsible and critical decision-making, taking into consideration cultural, societal and environmental
factors, is a key aspect of this monthly topic.
