Engineers and Architects
Doing architecture or engineering is not only constructing buildings or calculating the
materials, it is dreaming, exploring, thinking, imagining, investigating, drawing, measuring,
solving, and representing. Taking all these characteristics into account, we propose the month´s
topic Architects and Engineers, where we invite your students to accept the challenge of building
several structures and to acquire the knowledge of those things that surround them. Through
enriching and provocative activities, we invite them to have sensory
experiences that Little by Little will awaken a critical sense in them,
valuing the importance that design and order of the environment
have in the lives of people and especially how they influence the
quality of it.
Architects and engineers also invites the students to explore
different contexts and to experiment different roles to the one they
are used to. The boys and girls will have the opportunity to turn
into architects and engineers strengthening a set of mind habits such
as imagination, creativity, innovation and others.
