Letter for Parents
Dear Parents:
This month we will be working on the theme Animal Kingdom. The artist of the month
will be Oswaldo Guyasamin, and the country will be Ecuador. As every month teachers gather
with each other to brainstorm new ideas on how to approach the themes and empower each
activity with its respective thinking tool.
Throughout this month you will see how the projects presented to your children differ
from previous months and how they benefit from the different learning opportunities the teachers
provide to them. Even though the theme is directly related to “animals” be sure that the activities
planned for your children will take many other directions and they, as always, will develop skills
in all the different areas.
Please take some time to communicate with your child´s teacher so that you are informed
about what is going on in the classroom. If you could reinforce values, vocabulary, the language
