Exploring: Animal Kingdom
Know your students: Start the theme with a provocation that relates to do them or you
know will increase their inquisitiveness
You may want to start with a thinking routines that allows inquiry: Creative Questions,

Use Socratic dialogues instead of Yes/No or closed questions
Allow time for exploration; in times you will find that discussions with your children
come up spontaneously. Use questions from the thinking keys and the language of
thinking to enrich those discussions.
Tips:
Be open minded: Try to eliminate the “that is wrong …” from your mind
Work in small groups and differentiate
