To plan activities with movement and coordination like circle of view point, where
children will “become” the animals moving like them. (Slithering, shuffling, rolling,
crawling, walking, running, skipping, sliding, hopping, etc.)
Plan activities that offer physical challenges
Provide sufficient space to allow for movement inside and outside the classroom
Name the actions of the children introducing the language of movement
Ensure children wear practical and comfortable cloth at all times
Provide mirrors for children to see themselves moving, doing gestures and facial
expressions.
Talk with them about their actions and invite them to reflect and explore different ways
of representing ideas as they move.
Compare and contrast about how we take care of our bodies and health, and how animals
do.
