Create a sea aquarium, jungle, rainforest, etc. Each activity will be used as a learning experience while using the language of thinking to reinforce each activity and further provoke students with provocative type questions. If one student creates a monkey, for example, ask them what this is. When they respond, use this time as an opportunity to better understand what makes them say that? Where have they seen this before? What makes this a monkey? Form, lines, dimensions, textures, colors, shapes, etc. What is the responsibility of the monkey in the jungle or animal kingdom in general and how does it compare to other creatures we’ve explored already?
