Increases confidence in children: Everyday, other children, parents, and visitors in general see the work that students performed. The teacher, in presenting the processes experienced by children around the room, conveys a sense of pride and appreciation. 2. Promotes collective thinking: Documentation reflects the groupthink that children built with their peers. 3. Connects ideas: In the documentation the children’s thinking is made visible. By the work being visible, it becomes possible to revisit processes and create multiple connections with new issues presented in the day to day. 4.
