Educators The Edu1st school staff has, above all, a good understanding of the fundamental elements of their work (routines, procedures, cleaning, maintaining daily records, etc.), and are responsible for fulfilling these functions with attention to detail. Moreover, they consider themselves professionals in their work and act accordingly. Working with children, it is imperative for them to also be caring people that are concerned about the welfare of others, have a thorough approach to work, and know how to have fun. For these teachers, the profile must also include a flexible mindset, good and effective communication and teamwork skills, affability, creativity, and resourcefulness. As a key player in the culture of thinking, Edu1st teachers are people who live the thinking culture at all times. They participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities for personal and professional growth. Ultimately, being clear about their role as facilitators of learning, encouraging children to participate actively in the learning process, and appreciating their ideas and contributions. Parents Education is a shared responsibility. In Edu1st, parents have an important role within the schools. It is crucial for us to encourage the families to partakers in their children's learning, and to understand that they also belong in this environment where their children learn and grow for such a significant amount of hours a day. All parents are invited to participate in planned activities and volunteer in school life, familiarizing themselves with the curriculum through projects that children take home as games, such as "I Spy" and "The thinking Case." These games are a good way to expose parents to the language of thinking and to the routines that are used to promote fun and learning in the schools. By absorbing the routines and language that their children use in school at home, parents strengthen the children’s habits of mind and foster a culture of thinking at their homes as well.
