JS: How often will you be playing there?
CR: Once a week, beginning November 1st, starting around 9:30 or 10 pm.
We’ll be given 2 one hour slots, The Cosmic Blues Band, as house band will
open the show, followed by a headliner. Eventually, we’ll choose three bands
that we’ve had headline to join us in a showcase. Following the showcase, the
one band that stood out the most will be chose and given an entire evening.
JS: How long do you see this going?
CR: There’s no definite end that I see. It may run a month or two, maybe
longer, depending on how successful it is.
JS: And are you responsible for booking the bands?
CR: I’m responsible for booking all the bands for my event, but BB King’s
showed it respect by asking us for input as to who they should book on
Sunday’s, prior to the event. They also wanted to make sure that bands didn’t
overlap.
