We just released our first 3 song EP “ Gone !” that is available on our website or as individual singles on CD BABY , iTunes , Amazon , and Google Play and we begin shooting our first video for “ Too Far Gone ” in January , so it is exciting times for us . *********************************************************************************************** THE BLACK CATS are New York City rock and roll and tribal . How do you feel about that word : tribal ?? …………………………………………. Tribal hmmm ?!? If what you mean by Tribal is our pounding rhythm and raw untamed melodies , then yeah , I can see that , but I wouldn ’ t describe our sound as Tribal . Tribal music is more rhythmic drum based and we are an unadulterated , guitar driven , rock n roll band . *********************************************************************************************** Please describe your satisfaction when you see your audience rocking and having a great time . …………………………………………. That ' s what it ' s all about James , the connection with the audience . The interaction we have at that moment is so intense , we are united , and both the band and the audience can feel it . When you ' re at a live show the last thing , you want to think about is real life ... you want to have fun , escape all of the everyday pressures and enjoy yourself . Therefore , when we see the audience rocking and dancing we know we are doing our job .
