When the people around you ask what you are listening to AND tell you they all hear different things in it , that ’ s the surest sign an artist is onto something . Well , with his newest release , Scott Dean is definitely onto something .
Several people even told me the track , “ Radio ,” sounded like it would fit in nicely on , “ Boy ,” and that he sounded like a young Bono .
I want to be sure to mention the song , “ Better Keep Today ,’ in a perfect world , that song would be on a collision course with the top of the singles chart .
This is a record that once you put on , you can ’ t turn it off .
Every song on this record stands out in some way , but ones that I keep going back to include , “ Break Me ,” “ Lucky Seven ,” and the title track , “ Neon .”
This is one that I ’ m glad I heard now . Scott Dean is destined for greatness and you should start your journey with him now , that way you can be a part of something special .
