I start this review off with a confession , I like all kinds of music , but growing up with a country songwriter in my family , that style of music holds a special place in my heart .
With that being said , if Jeannine Barry represents the future of country music , get me a new pair of boots and sign me up .
On here 4 song EP , “ Bittersweet ,” Jeannine Barry delivers the goods . Every single song on this EP deserves radio play .
From the opening notes of the title track , “ Bittersweet ,” to the closing moments of EP closer , “ Holding On ,” Jeannine takes you on a musical journey that feels far too short .
I want to be sure to mention my favorite track , “ Shake You Off ,” this is the kind of song that back in the old days , if there was a video , I would have spent hours watching CMT waiting for it .
This is a must buy if you like good music .
