with Him and not associating anything with Him.) is a sure path to the Infinite-Smokeless-Hell- Fire. Shamanism is a near path to Islam, if you understand to the Religion Islam; just as Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, and Christianity. However, Shamanism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, and Christianity are polytheistic religions (worship more than one God directly and indirectly and putting associate with The God [Allah]), they blocks you from Tawhid and Entering The Blissful Paradise. Like most popular religions, just as Shamanism; they all believe that there is a path to the Light or Paradise. Shamanism really provoked my mind to venture into the path of understanding, because I have some fundamental knowledge about Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. So, when I started studying some of the basic ideology of Shamanism; I realized that they are similar in many way, however when you get close to the Light, you can fall apart into darkness before attaining the Light. You can simple attain miss- understanding by embracing the object (Person, Place, or Thing) instead of The Uncreated (The God or The Light), or as the Shaman would say “Wakan-Tanka” The God. Therefore, to better understand the Shaman, I would like to first present it from the aspect of “The Shaman and the Medicine Wheel” by, Evelyn Eaton of one who seek the Light. And second, according to Piers Vitebsky in the book “The Shaman” the spirits seek you. Evelyn Eaton says “I was a town-bred, town-raised child, whose parents traveled a great deal so that I had no roots in any one town or even continent. I was educated first by governesses, French, German, English, then in Canadian and English boarding schools (15).” “Then I had a dream, and in my dream one of these small round stones appeared to me and told me that the Maker of All was Wakan-Tanka and that in order to honor Him I must honor His works in nature. The stone said that by my search I had shown myself worthy of supernatural help. It said that if I were curing a sick person I Might ask its assistance, and that all the forces of nature would help me work a cure (16).” The Great Light or The Great God has no one special name. The Shamanistic way has many names for the Unmoved center. Mrs. Eaton was a semi-world traveler, because of her parents. She some has Native blood in her. For some strange reason, Mrs. Eaton always felt some comfort in having rocks in her pockets as a child and being around rocks. As Mrs. Eaton would say concerning adult authorities in her life “Disposed of by all-powerful adults who liked pockets to be nice and clean and empty (16)”. She spoke of the Wheel? As a Shaman, the Wheel is the most important aspect of Shamanism because it is the object of path to The Light. The big wheel is the Universe, because all objects are in the Universe. And that all things a created alike, for there is a circle in all things. The earth is a circle with other behavior form and/or producing a circle: the rainbow forms a circle, rock thrown in a pond produces a circle, sound forms a circle, the solar-system is a circle, and etc. To be a Shaman is not to put off for tomorrow for what you are to do today. You do not say I will practice Shamanism when you finish doing something, or after a certain time; practicing Shamanism is the here and now. Through Shamanism there is guidance and healing powers. However, journey of Shamanism is to stay on the path you journey, because if you get off the path it is like stepping into dark or into wood. Dark or Wood is danger. You are off the old path and on to another path, even-though it still leads you to the Light. You just start over with the same journey but in a different direction to The Light. To attain the Light and be a Healer, you must shout out to Wanka Tanka (The God – The Light). And if you cannot shout to Wanka Tanka then you must “Set up a Squawk”. Squawk means cry with all our being to the Great Spirit, or, if we do not feel able to address the Source of All directly, then through an intermediary, a Grandfather, a Saint, a Bodhisattva, perhaps a Power Animal or even a Stone. For, Dante was a Shaman respected among the Religious circle. Dante “AL’JIHAD”– by, Imam Mahdi . © ® ™ : Of 842 Pages Is 647
