LATE SUMMER - FALL

People who have read, heard about, or seen pictures of the Bow River can come to some preconceived ideas of our world-class trout river.

Yes, there are good numbers of larger-than-average fish on the Bow. It is a wonderful river. For many anglers catching a brown or rainbow trout between 18 and 22 inches is a fish of a lifetime. On the Bow we are exceedingly fortunate to see these fish multiple times weekly. And yes we do have some that are larger. Very few North American rivers anywhere outside of Alaska produce the consistent quality of the Bow fishery.

However, the fish are not necessarily easy to catch and you have to put in your time to succeed. The most important thing to remember is to be flexible and versatile. Here are some tips we hope help you figure out the Bow and allow you to hook into one of our magnificent fish:
