After a few pictures and video we decided to call it a day and end it on an unsuspecting moment that left us both with smiles on our faces.

At that moment in time, after racing down to the creek's edge prepared to jump in the creek and help Adam untangle the fish from the logs, to netting then snapping a photo of the brown, I was fully present. My mind wasn’t on home and the responsibilities I have to my family, I was immersed in the moment.

These small moments in time, and being able to share it with Adam that day, are moments to treasure no matter how frequently they occur. I’ve learned since being a father and a husband to treasure every moment that life has to offer you and to be present, be it on a stream or watching your son taking his first steps.
