Alberta Fishing Guide Summer-Fall 2015 | Page 124

It's always surprising how quickly our summer seems to flow by. The fall is a bit of a catch-22 for me. I love fall fishing, the cool mornings, clear skies and the amazing contrast of colors that the changing seasons bring. Autumn often sees far less fishing traffic and can make for some peaceful days on deserted stretches of prime water. On the other hand, it means that the summer has come and gone and our first snowfall is imminent. Every year, as we roll into mid September it becomes a question of what day out on the water will be our last glimpse of warm weather trout fishing of the year.

I’d like to share some of the things that I look forward to and the scenarios that I plan on encountering during fall fishing in Alberta.
