Alberta Fishing Guide 2016 Mid-Summer Digital | Page 132

If you've not been to an alpine lake in Alberta, there's often a scree slope along a headwall that tapers to the lake. The opposite shore almost always has fir and spruce trees that are incredibly slow growing. Chester Lake is similar, and there is a subtle trail that skirts through the scree slope along the lake perimater. There is a much easier hiking trail that leads to the waterfall feeding the lake, but every angler knows the best fishing has to be on the other side. :)
