Viking is now 100% focused on non-GMO hybrid seed corn and soybeans. It is all we do. All our relationships
with breeding programs and all of our research trials, product-development trials and our business planning are
concentrated on bringing you the very best non-GMO hybrid seed corn and soybean seed available.
GMO Purity in Seed Corn
The presence or absence of GMOs in your seed corn may not matter to you at all, or it may be extremely important
(if you are selling grain to a non-GMO grain purchaser, for example). In order to clarify the status of Viking non-GMO
conventional corn, we have developed a new system that classifies our seed corn into three different levels of
purity. Please see page 5 for complete information.
Conventional Corn and “Non-GMO” Contracts
We do not guarantee any of these conventional corn hybrids to be 100% free of GMOs (genetically-modified
organisms, or more accurately: corn traits derived from recombinant DNA technology). Furthermore, we cannot
guarantee that grain harvested from Viking Conventional Hybrids will be marketable as “non-GMO” grain.
