The last dance of convention was held that

night at the gymnasium where they finally managed to create a fitting atmosphere with minimal lighting. For many, this was the last Latin convention dance they'd ever attend.

It's a bittersweet time as graduated seniors depart the JCL while fresh, new faces join us every convention. Whether you're from a small or large chapter, or whether you take Latin I or AP Latin, one small commonality seems to make JCL possibly the most cohesive and tightly-knit group of people one can ever be a part of. A passion for the classics. It gives each of us an opportunity to connect with not only each other but the rest of society, and national convention is the perfect place to explore that. I think everyone can agree that although this one week flew by, it created everlasting experiences, friendships, and memories.
