brookwood

In honor of the Ideas of March, the upper level Latin students at Brookwood played an assassin game of Caesar and Senators. In this game, the players wore arm bands and tried to mark each other’s during lunch and after school. Teachers participated in the game as well. The students passed out invitations via cupcakes. The game took place over three days, and players who avoided having their arm bands marked, one the game. Just as Brutus and Cassius, the students conspired to take down their teachers and peers. Since the students were sneaking around the school, the game brought lots of focus on our Latin program. Other students became interested and wanted to know what we were doing. Students had the chance to educate their peers on the assassination of Julius Caesar.
